#Remembering Our Heroes
Remembering my Grandfather, John Cruz, and all Veterans. My Grandfather was a medic in WWII and received the Purple Heart when he was shot helping save another soldier. He will be turning 98 this October.
Thank you to all Veterans for your sacrifice.

Today I will seek not only to know, but to understand.
In a world that is full of information, true understanding remains a rare and precious treasure.
The knowledge and information I collect is valuable. But the understanding I refine from that knowledge is the true treasure.
Information tells me what has happened. Understanding enables me to know how to respond and move forward.
The effort I put into understanding brings great value to my life and my world.
I will listen, learn, question, experience, think and understand. I will do the work that turns ordinary facts into precious treasure.
