Today I will seek not only to know, but to understand.

In a world that is full of information, true understanding remains a rare and precious treasure.

The knowledge and information I collect is valuable. But the understanding I refine from that knowledge is the true treasure.

Information tells me what has happened. Understanding enables me to know how to respond and move forward.

The effort I put into understanding brings great value to my life and my world.

I will listen, learn, question, experience, think and understand. I will do the work that turns ordinary facts into precious treasure.

Today I will truly consider what’s really important to me. I will look past those fleeting concerns and activities that seem so urgent, and look into what I truly care about.

I will generously give quality, focused time to the special people in my life. I will accept them for who they are and listen without judgment to what they have to say.

I will peacefully consider the goodness and value in my life, and feel the warmth that those thoughts bring.

I will treasure the moments of this day. And consider each moment as an opportunity to give more value and support to what’s truly important.

I will keep myself connected to what’s truly important. From that perspective, I will find great fulfillment in all that I do…
