Self-Defense Awareness – How finely tuned are your senses?

Let’s have some fun today by experiencing the power of your personal observation skills.

Start by watching the video above. You just might realize that there’s more going on around you than you see.

If you failed this “Awareness Test” (as I did today), you just might pay a little more attention to your surroundings today.

In our ABC’s of Self-Defense, “A” is for AWARENESS and Avoiding Potentially Dangerous Situations. As a self-defense expert I always stresses this to all my students and point out that we must distinguish between seeing and observing — and in the case of safety — ultimately acting upon those observations.

OBSERVE what you see; ANALYZE what you evaluate; and

This is a fun way to jump-start your observation skills, the first step to engaging in your personal safety.
