Get Up And Make Your Bed – A Navy SEAL Black Belt Strong Mindset

Hi everyone, Peter Liciaga here with a Black belt strong lesson.

Ever since I was a young kid, I always admired the American soldier, especially the NAVY SEALS.

Not for the guns, the killing, or the special missions…

I admired them for their mentality, training, and discipline.

Here’s a short excerpt from a keynote commencement speech given by Naval Adm. William H. McRaven on May 17th 2014 to the University of Texas’ graduates. Adm. McCraven is the ninth commander of the United States Special Operations Command and is best known for having planned and directed the raid that led to the death of Osama bin Laden.

I don’t think there’s another brotherhood who pushes their minds, bodies, and spirits further than the SEALs do.

And it’s not by accident or “sheer God-given talent” that these men are so tough and powerful.

The SEAL mindset, is what I will call a “Black Belt Strong Mindset”. It’s a mindset that super-empowers their perspectives, beliefs, and behaviors.

In this short commentary, I am going to share one of the most powerful take-aways from the Adm McCraven’s speech that you can apply into your life to be more fit, successful, powerful, and healthy.
