There’s a big difference between anticipating difficulty and worrying about it. When you make plans, it is reasonable to expect that you’ll meet with some difficult hurdles. To the extent that you anticipate them in advance, and take steps to minimize their impact, you make your efforts that much more effective.
Worrying about potential problems brings a completely different dynamic. Worry sets you up to be held back by obstacles that may not ever materialize.
What are you being prevented from accomplishing because of your worries? If there’s some aspect that you’re concerned about, take positive, active steps to alleviate that concern. Then throw away your worry and get on with the program. Work your plan.
There is always the possibility of failure when you attempt something ambitious. Yet if you never even make the attempt, failure is not just a possibility, it is certain. Instead of worrying about what might happen, move forward and use your energy to deal with what does actually happen. That’s the way to get things done.
