Dinoto Karate Center is more than just kicking and punching, it is about building a healthy person AND making a difference in our community.
While other martial arts schools may talk and teach kicks and punches Dinoto Karate student are actually making a difference in their communities in a very purposeful and powerful way.
Civic engagement and community activism is the heart of Dinoto Karate’s leadership program. In this way the students learn first hand the value and importance of their role in the community and beyond. This it not to say we tell the students what organization to volunteer for or help, actually they choose the cause, working together (sometimes with their whole family!) to help those organizations/causes. The students are given the tools, the guidance and the power. They choose. They make the difference.
I am very proud of all the students that have stepped up to help their communities and charities. The students constantly amaze me with their generosity, spirit and leadership. Keep up the amazing work!
