Curiosity is a powerful force—it’s the spark that inspires us to explore new paths, take risks, and grow in unexpected ways. But curiosity alone isn’t enough. To truly transform your life, you need to take the next step: get serious about your curiosity.
On Saturday, January 11, 2025, I’ll be stepping back onto the mats for the 12 PM class to train and teach martial arts. Here’s the exciting part: on January 6th, I have my six-week post-op appointment with my surgeon, Dr. Reid. At my two-week check-up last week, he assured me that my hips are healing great and I’ll be cleared to return to my activities with zero restrictions! That two-thumbs-up from Dr. Reid will be the final green light for me to return to the mats.
This isn’t about pushing your physical limits—it’s about stepping onto the mats to learn the guiding principles and concepts of what it means to be a martial artist. It’s about training to develop your indomitable spirit and building the foundation for living a strong, purpose-driven life every day.
And here’s the most important part: this isn’t just about you. This is about becoming a real model—not a perfect one—for your children and grandchildren. It’s about showing them what it looks like to live with courage, resilience, and strength.
Whether you’re curious about martial arts or looking for a way to reconnect with your sense of purpose, this is your opportunity. It’s completely free, so you have nothing to lose—and potentially everything to gain.
By the way, I’ve written a blueprint for my own training—a roadmap for how I’m approaching martial arts as a soon-to-be 64-year-old with two brand-new hips. This isn’t just about physical recovery; it’s about aligning my body, mind, and spirit to continue living strong. I encourage everyone who’s curious to read it—it might inspire how you approach your own journey.

So let me ask you: are you curious—and, are you serious about your curiosity? If you are, click the link on this page and join me on the mats. Let’s make January 2025 the beginning of something extraordinary—not just for me, but for all of us.
I can’t wait to see you on the mats, learning, growing, and stepping into a stronger version of yourself.
